Durham MVP

DO YOU WANT TO BE A DURHAM MVP?

Durham MVP is our dementia-inclusive Multi-sector Volunteer Partnership, and we want you on the team.

The plan for Durham MVP was informed by the outcome of a partnership project between the Duke Global Health Institute Capstone Program and DII that indicated a great need for persons living with dementia and their caregivers to be surrounded by and included in the community.

Dementia is a community-wide issue, and demands a community-wide response. We created Durham MVP with the following 15 sectors in mind:

  • persons living with dementia

individuals with any sort of dementia diagnosis

  • families and care partners

supportive and involved relatives and/or friends
