Durham MVP is our dementia-inclusive Multi-sector Volunteer Partnership, and we want you on the team.
The plan for Durham MVP was informed by the outcome of a partnership project between the Duke Global Health Institute Capstone Program and DII that indicated a great need for persons living with dementia and their caregivers to be surrounded by and included in the community.
Dementia is a community-wide issue, and demands a community-wide response. We created Durham MVP with the following 15 sectors in mind:

individuals with any sort of dementia diagnosis

supportive and involved relatives and/or friends

arts and cultural organizations
museums, studios, galleries, theaters, classes, centers
